PNW Landscape Triptych
PNW Landscape Triptych
A three-panel wood marquetry canvas set, inspired by the PNW landscape tattoos the artist designed for his own double sleeve work — viewed from three angles through the ancient craft of marquetry. The natural environment of the Pacific Northwest holds a particular kind of beauty for the artist; he returns to landscape imagery of the place he calls home again and again. The trees, the mountains, the sun, the water — all of it evokes a primal beauty.
Each panel captures a different facet of the PNW landscape:
- Washington Sunrise — a bright, happy landscape featuring a pod of orcas.
- Native Flowers — a balanced landscape of cherry-toned water and sky, with two Pacific Northwest native flowers — bear grass and scarlet paintbrush.
- Montana Blood Moon — a nighttime campfire scene on the Montana side of the PNW divide.
Individual panels measure from 5"x7" to 24"x30" each and can be purchased alone to build the collection over time.
Save up to $172 when you buy the full three-panel triptych vs individual canvases.
Materials. Six tonally different hardwoods — cherry, walnut, sapele, maple, aromatic cedar, and Baltic birch — precisely laser-cut and inlaid by hand onto a solid wood substrate. Finished with Odie's Oil, a non-toxic hardwax that deepens the grain and lasts for generations.
Made to order in the Flower & Fang studio in Seattle by Jack Danger. Because each canvas is cut and assembled by hand, please allow 30 days from order to shipment. Shipped directly to you or sent as a gift on your behalf — leave a note at checkout with any special instructions.

Add a custom engraving. Have a message inscribed on the back — a name, a date, a dedication, anything the piece should carry with it. Choose your length at checkout.
Care. Wipe clean with a soft dry cloth. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight and high humidity. A light re-oil every year or two with any food-safe wood conditioner will keep the grain lively.
